More Editing Power in Site Builder and Timeline Sections
March 5, 2024
It’s a new month which means we’ve released some new components and updates to improve Relume. Happy March Component Day!
Here's what's new:
Removing Elements (coming soon)
{{TeamDamianSam}}
We've been on a mission to bring more editing power to Site Builder so that you can make rapid adjustments to wireframes before sharing them with clients and team members. We’re excited to introduce our first step towards this goal with the ability to remove elements, which we'll be shipping this month.
Don’t need two buttons in that header? Get rid of it! Don’t want taglines on every section? Boom, gone! But what happens if you accidentally delete something but then need to bring it back? Don't fret, you can reset the component to bring back hidden elements.
What’s next?
When it comes to bringing more editing power to Site Builder, this update is just the tip of the iceberg. We're actively developing additional features to further our goal of creating a swift and seamless editing experience. Soon, you'll have the ability to add and modify elements and components within a section, streamlining the process of perfecting each section.
In the meantime, we'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback on removing elements, as well as any other editing features you'd like to see in Site Builder.
Timeline Sections
{{TeamKalebMariaJono}}
It’s timely timing… to introduce new Timeline sections!
With Relume’s first ever cloneable being one of Webflow’s most cloned projects (11k+ clones), the timeline component has clearly been a crowd favourite since the very beginning.
These new and improved timeline sections are designed to inspire creative ways for you to tell stories, explain processes, and display historical events in an engaging way.
Inspiration
If you're looking for some inspiration on how to use the new Timeline Sections, here are a few designs the team has put together.
